LRC SUBMISSION TO MINISTER ON MUSLIM MARRAIGES BILL
AL JAMA-AH ‘S RESPONSE TO THE SUBMISSIONS OF THE LEGAL RESOURCES CENTRE
AL JAMA-AH IS OUTRAGED BY THE SUBMISSION
The Submissions made to the Minister of Justice & Constitutional Development by
the Legal Resources Centre are extremely deficient from the Islamic perspective. However, the LRC’s submissions provide the Minister with more than adequate cause to scrap the Bill.
THOUSANDS OF MUSLIMS WILL HAVE THEIR WATER CUT DURING RAMADAN.
WE WILL PUT THEIR WATER BACK ON WITH YOUR ZAKAAT INSHA ALLAH.
Muslims will turn against the Constitution of the country if government listens to human rights bodies , gender and gay activists, Muslim modernists and anti-religion groups to change, modify and reshape the shariah Muslim marriage laws to fully comply with the Constitution, says Party leader and mayoral candidate in the City of Cape Town for the AL JAMA-AH political party Ganief Hendricks. This negative attitude towards the shariah will make it difficult for the Party to position the Muslim community as the most peaceful community in the country. Moreso after government has introduced laws repugnant to the shariah on abortion, same sex marriages, gambling and shebeens and has been soft on drug lords and gangsters because of constitutional restraints.
