Eighteen rock drilling operators di not deserve to be shot by police at the Marikana Platinum Mine. All they wanted is a fair share of the riches enjoyed by Mine bosses and comrades who have thrown them to the dogs. What is wrong to ask what any family must earn to pay fro their basic expenses. After all the drillers work the hardest in the country and must be paid a decent wage. One cannot work yourself to death and come home with meagre money.
When 3000 workers and some of their family members take the hill like the Zulus did in Isandlandwana President Zuma should have rushed to the scene which he did not do.
More terror can be expected in the days to come. This is not lawlessnes but a fight for a decent wage to the death. This is the sign of things to come as politicians are worried more about their own turf than the plight of the oppressed.
