Madiba’s death has shocked the AL JAMA-AH Political Party and it has called on all Muslims to say a silent prayer for his family, friends, President Zuma, the African National Congress, all South Africans and freedom loving people the world over.
The greatets gift one can give to a human being is freedom and that is what Mandela did for all South Africans.
While former President Mandela was in jail the Muslim community was one the first communities in South Africa to call for his release from Robben Island at a meeting of local Cape Muslim bodies called by South Africa’s only national Muslim body in 1980 the Muslim Student’s Association at the Bekoedratullah Community Hall in Cashel Avenue Athlone opposite the headquarters of the Muslim Judicial Council.
Our prayers were answered when Madiba was released and 40 years later today we are prayer to thank Allah for the services Madiba rendered to South Africa and humanity with his mercy.
The Party has asked all Muslims to observe all protocols as Muslim leaders from every Arab and Muslim country visit South Africa over the next 2 weeks to pay their respects to the country and comfort South Africans. The Muslim world has the highest regard for Madiba and the services he rendered to mankind.
The AL JAMA-AH Party leader and former Muslim chair of the Free Mandela campaign Ganief Hendricks will pay a special tribute as whip of the AL JAMA-AH Party at a specially called meeting of the City of Cape Town scheduled for next week. The Party will feed hundreds of Delft and Hanover Park residents with a warm plate of food starting this weekend to help comfort the thousands of poor South Africans in mourning as Mandela took the first steps to alleviate their plight. The Party’s hundred orphans where it partners with an orphanage in Klip Town where the Freedom charter was launched will have special programmes to honour Madiba as he did for kids what no South African ever did. He gave them the hope of real freedom.
