Al Jama-ah calls on the ICC to hold the oppressive Zionist state accountable for their ongoing atrocities

As South Africans, we are sickened by the Zionist security forces’ disrespectful and murderous manner as they stormed Al Aqsa Masjid last night to literally lynch Palestinian worshippers. While we do not wonder anymore what prompted them to act so cruelly towards these Palestinian worshippers, we are fully cognisant of their disdain for this oppressed societies – besides the Palestinians – globally

We are aware that these appalling and recurring acts, which have been happening with deliberate and disgraceful intent over the years during the sacred month of Ramadan, continue to illustrate the character of the Zionists; their dastardly deeds have, in fact, become an annual atrocious affair with the world watching helplessly and the UN not lifting its finger against the Zionist state and its inhumane forces!

It is our view as South Africans that their aggressive and animalistic acts should not be condoned and nor tolerated; these acts should be severely condemned by the world community and not just by us South Africans. We call on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to step in and hold the Zionist state accountable for their dastardly acts against Palestinians. We further call on Arab states and other nations to come to the defence of Palestinians in their liberation struggle against Zionist occupation.

The question is: Would they want the Palestinians to come into their synagogues and do the same? Of course not. And they would – we are certain – publicly describe the Palestinians as barbaric and vicious. So, we take this opportunity to describe the Zionist forces not only as ruthless and shamelessly but heartless!

Their uninterrupted disparagement of and their dogged disdain for the Palestinians are palpable; and for that reason, AL JAMA-AH wishes to repeat calls for defensive weapons to be sent to our Palestinian brothers and sisters so that they may help to defend their women and children, and all their mosques and their fellow worshippers. This is what President Nelson Mandela wanted when he said: “We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.”

Al Jama-ah’s leader and Member of Parliament Hon. Ganief Hendricks repeats the party’s call made to the South African government to send defensive weapons to the Resistance Movements in Palestine so that they may defend themselves from the Zionist security forces’ antagonistic barbarity. We make this call again and should not be mere onlookers but supportive of the oppressed Palestinians!

Let us remind everyone that when SA needed weapons the Palestinian leadership persuaded Libya to provide some and trained South African liberation movement members; now the Palestinian people needs SA to assist their resistant fighters and bring an end to South African Jews of going for military training in the Zionist state of Israel. So, we make this call again because none of us should not be mere onlookers but supportive of the oppressed Palestinians

Al Jama-ah is appealing to the South African government to go to the aid of South African worshippers who are at Al Aqsa and in danger of being lynched. “It is South Africa’s responsibility to ensure SA pilgrims are not lynched,” says Hendricks.
