The Peoples Post tabloid hits the streets favourably in Ward 115!

Al Jama-ah’s candidate councillor for Ward 115; Woodstock and surrounding areas has become a sensation among residents overnight, due to Al Jama-ah’s marketing campaign.

Nazmie’s popularity among the voters has even climbed higher with the latest distribution of his newspaper, Peoples Choice among residents.

He uses the newspaper as an election tool for his contesting in Ward 115.

Most residents are identifying with Nazmie as he’s from the area, where none of the other contestants are domicile in the region.

“People are not impressed with the bigger parties anymore,” says Tahir Levy, an icon and respected community activist here.

He said: “We are all going to vote for Nazmie, and humba DA and ANC. The EFF and Hope parties, who do not stand a dog’s chance, will just split the vote from the DA. We want Nazmie as our next councillor.”

Nazmie’s ratings have climbed tremendously the past week. Residents came out of their homes to greet him.

Another resident Mogamat Phaldie Gierdien says: “Our concerns are real. We are going to give Nazmie a chance to stand up for our issues.”

Sadick Philander from York Road, Woodstock says: “I know Nazmie all the years since we were children. I feel he has the confidence of the residence here.”

Al Jama-ah’s Qaasim Hendricks says: “The party’s interns are working very hard in helping in campaigning for Nazmie Jamodien, by putting up posters, distributing pamphlets and now with Nazmie’s paper, most people are excited to know what Nazmie can do for them when it comes to service delivery.”

Allen Hendricks from Devan Rd, Woodstock says: “I will never vote for the DA again. They cut my water which is not even on a drip. Ward 115 was a DA stronghold, who has lost popularity in the Ward.”

“Al Jama-ah is the only party campaigning every day in Ward 115. I’ve only seen the DA and Hope parties once in the area. Residents did not respond favourably to these parties.”

“If it wasn’t due to Al Jama-ah supporting the councillor-candidate Nazmie Jamodien in Ward 115, he would not have stood any chance at all. Most residents say they are just gatvol of councillors and their political parties who do not really deliver and make empty promises.”
