Al Jama-ah Supports Elderly and Disabled Residents in Madibeng
As part of its Vote 2026 campaign activities in the Madibeng Local Municipality, North West, the Al Jama-ah team distributed wheelchairs and food hampers to elderly residents and people living with disabilities across the region.
The outreach initiative aims to provide practical support to vulnerable community members while promoting dignity, care, and inclusion. The handovers were welcomed by recipients and their families, highlighting the importance of community-driven assistance during challenging economic times.
Al Jama-ah has confirmed that the campaign will continue throughout June, with further community engagements and support initiatives planned across the municipality as the party strengthens its connection with residents ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
Supporting Vulnerable Communities Through Compassion and Service
Cllr Adv Shameemah Salie distributed meat, blankets, and clothing to elderly residents, mothers, and vulnerable families across various communities.
The initiative brought much-needed support and comfort to those facing difficult circumstances, while reinforcing the importance of community solidarity and caring for those most in need.

Al Jama-ah Campaigns in Kuils River Ahead of Regional Elections
The Al Jama-ah team has been actively campaigning in Ward 19, Kuils River, City of Cape Town, under the leadership of MPL Galil Brinkhuis.
As preparations continue for the upcoming regional elections, party representatives have been engaging with residents, listening to community concerns, and sharing Al Jama-ah’s vision for service delivery, accountability, and community development.

Cllr Stulweni distributes food parcels to Families at Ouregtevlei Farm
Al Jama-ah Councillor Ahmed Stulweni from the Drakenstein Municipality spent time with residents of Ouregtevlei Farm, where he assisted in the distribution of food parcels to members of the local community.
The outreach formed part of ongoing efforts to support vulnerable families facing daily socio-economic challenges and rising living costs affecting many communities across the region.
Cllr Stulweni engaged directly with residents during the visit, listening to concerns and reinforcing the importance of community support, compassion, and practical assistance at grassroots level.
