Al Jama-ah, together with the National Coloured Congress (NCC) and the Schoteskloof Body corporate is currently assisting qualifying residents in Bo-Kaap with their City of Cape Town rates rebate and indigent support applications, as well as following up on existing applications.
This community outreach aims to ensure that eligible residents receive the municipal assistance to which they are entitled, while also providing guidance on the application process and addressing outstanding queries.
Residents who believe they may qualify for assistance are encouraged to engage with the outreach teams and bring the necessary supporting documentation to facilitate their applications.
