MMC for Community Development, Thapelo Amad, attended a special commemoration programme hosted by Al-Mustafa International University South Africa, marking the 40th day memorial gathering in honour of Ayatollah Sayeed Ali Khamenei.
Held on Saturday, 11 April 2026, the programme brought together scholars, community leaders, and distinguished guests for a time of reflection, remembrance, and engagement. The event featured a series of lectures and addresses focusing on faith, leadership, and the broader social and spiritual legacy associated with the commemoration.
During the programme, MMC Amad engaged with international representatives, including the Ambassador of Iran, as well as Said Mustafa, who serves in a religious and cultural attaché capacity. These engagements form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen dialogue and foster relationships across cultural and diplomatic platforms.
The gathering reflected a spirit of unity, reflection, and shared values, highlighting the importance of dialogue and community connection in addressing both local and global challenges.
