Al Jama-ah was honoured to spend a special day with more than 120 elders residing at Rainbow Cottages in Silvertown, sharing laughter, companionship, and appreciation during a memorable fun day.
Our elders are the treasures of our society. They are the generation that sacrificed, nurtured, and laid the foundations upon which we stand today. Yet far too many face loneliness, financial hardship, and daily struggles with little support.
As a community, we have a responsibility to ensure that our senior citizens are not forgotten. Every act of kindness, every visit, every shared meal, and every moment of companionship reminds them that they are valued, respected, and loved.
Al Jama-ah remains committed to serving the most vulnerable in our communities and to restoring the dignity of our elders. Their wisdom is priceless, their stories are our history, and their wellbeing is our collective responsibility.
