Al Jama-ah welcomes the arrival of the South African humanitarian activists who were abducted from the Global Sumud Flotilla by the Zionist Israeli forces:
Al Jama-ah Party calls on South Africans to give a warm welcome to the humanitarian activists who will be arriving back home today after they were abducted from the Global Sumud Flotilla by the Zionist Israeli forces.
The six South Africans who include Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandla Mandela, grandson of President Nelson Mandela; Zukiswa Wanner, Carrie Shelver, Zaheera Soomar, Dr Fatima Hendricks and Reaz Moola are expected to be released from detention this morning and repatriated via Jordan.
“We fully support DIRCO (Department of International Relations and Cooperations) for their efforts to ensure the safe return of our humanitarian activists. We say ‘shame’ to the DA party for their position that the South African and other international humanitarian activists must rot in an Israeli jail. Though we are not surprised by the DA’s position as it only further amplifies this party’s support for Zionism and apartheid,” says Al Jama-ah’s leader, Hon Ganief Hendricks.
Al Jama-ah says it salutes the humanitarian activists who joined the Sumud Flotilla and those who continue with campaigns against the genocide and support for the Palestinians’ liberation struggle against occupation and apartheid.
