The Al Jama-ah Ward 46 team was out in full force in Rylands and Gatesville, taking the campaign directly into the neighbourhood and making sure residents receive information about Al Jama-ah, its priorities and its commitment to local communities.
From street to street and home to home, the team was out distributing campaign material and putting the party’s message directly into the hands — and postboxes — of residents.
Because local politics should be about more than promises made from a distance.
It is about understanding the issues that affect people where they live — from service delivery and safety to infrastructure, clean neighbourhoods and responsive local government — and having representatives who are prepared to engage with those issues.
The Ward 46 campaign is about building that connection: being visible, being present and making sure residents know who Al Jama-ah is and what it stands for.
The work continues — one street, one home and one community at a time.
