Aljama ah hosted an iftaar at Maroof Islamic Centre in Athlone, Cape Town.
Saturday night we were also honoured at our mass iftar with the prescence of his Excellency Carlos Feo Acevedo, Venezuelan Ambassador to South Africa and his wife , who accepted the invitation of Honourable Deputy Minister of social development Ganief Hendricks, to join us for iftar at Al Maroof Islamic centre in Bridgetown
The introduction of the #Bringthemback campaign was launched
It remains highly concerning the unlawful abduction of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores of Venzuela by the United States on 3 January 2026.
At the mass iftar our mayoral candidate and candidate councillors for Cape Town was also introduced.
