Honourable Ganief Hendricks, Shireen Ebrahim, Raihaan Pietersen and Cllr Jakes Karolia attended the Palestinian Boycott Program in Erasmia this week.

Inspired by the South African anti-apartheid movement, the BDS call urges action to pressure Israel to comply with international law.

Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice and equality –
which motivates the withdrawal of support from Israel’s apartheid regime, complicit Israeli sporting, cultural, and academic institutions, all vendors, shops and suppliers of Israeli merchandise and all Israeli and international companies engaged in violations of Palestinian human rights.

It calls for boycotts, divestment and sanctions to be used to bring pressure on Israel to end its regime of settler-colonialism, military occupation and apartheid against Palestinians.
