Deputy Minister of Social Development Honourable Ganief Hendricks delivered a speech at the NDA Civil Society Organizations conference.
In the concerted effort to foster effective partnerships to combat poverty and drive sustainable development, the National Development Agency (NDA) will under the theme of, “Positioning the NDA as a thought leader in poverty eradication and amplifying the role of CSOs as drivers of sustainable community development”, host a National CSO Conference from 08 – 09 May 2025 aimed at positioning the NDA as a pivotal force in enabling state-CSO collaboration, highlighting the role of private sector in sustainable community development, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and advocating for innovative approaches to poverty eradication.
The Conference will be taking place after nearly a decade since the last conference hosted by the NDA.
Through this conference, the NDA aims to build confidence among stakeholders, enhance its visibility, and reinforce its role as a coordinator of national poverty eradication efforts.
These events will be instrumental in demonstrating how the NDA’s redefined approach, partnerships, and innovative strategies can fast-track sustainable community development solutions across the landscape of South Africa.
