The Office of the MMC for Community Development, Councillor Thapelo Amad, celebrated the successful launch of the Golf 4 Change Jozi (G4C) media event and youth golf clinic.
Councillor Amad was joined by former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi, as well as renowned football supporter Mama Joy Chauke, in endorsing the initiative. Golf 4 Change Jozi forms part of Councillor Thapelo Amad’s legacy programme, which aims to harness the power of sport to inspire change, develop future leaders, and create lasting opportunities for communities across Johannesburg.
The launch brought together stakeholders, community leaders, young participants, and members of the media, while the youth golf clinic gave aspiring golfers the opportunity to learn new skills and engage with experienced mentors.
