On 31st July protestors gathered at Cape Town Holocaust and Genocide Centre under the banner: “Never Again?”
The phrase is most strongly linked to the Holocaust, serving as a promise to never forget the horrors of the genocide and to actively work to prevent future atrocities.
Sadly, a live stream genocide is being committed by the unlawful barbaric occupiers called “Israel” against Palestinians and this centre remains eerily silent on the atrocities being committed in Gaza.
Education provided by this centre is it selective and a hypocritical stance being held where the genocide in Gaza is being deliberately ignored.
Protestors are holding the Centre morally and politically accountable for its failure to acknowledge the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.
When a genocide is unfolding in real time, silence is complicity, and remembrance without action is betrayal.
We condemn “Israhell” for the reality that “Israel” and their supporters are directly responsible for the deliberate starvation and annihilation of Palestinian civilians.
Gaza is a concentration camp with civilians barred from exit and humanitarian aid barred from entry.
Most of Gaza homes, hospitals, schools, places of worship have been flattened by the unlawful barbaric occupiers of Palestine who have deliberately destroyed Gaza and her people. All this while the world watched.
Amongst the daily indiscriminate bombing by “Israel” Gaza is further facing a level 5 starvation, with aid controlled by the genocidal zionist regime.
Shockingly even when controlled aid is allowed to treacle into Gaza, civilians are massacred by these evil entities.
Organizations including the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, SA Jews for a Free Palestine, Gift of the Givers, Mothers for Gaza, and members of Al Jama-ah attended this protest
