On August 18, the 2nd Pakistan–South Africa (Pak Africa) Trade Summit was convened in Johannesburg, making another stride in trade and investment relations between Pakistan and South Africa.
Among the distinguished attendees was Deputy Minister for Social Development Ganief Ebrahim Hendricks
In his keynote address, Minister Sheikh shared Pakistan’s resolve to have a dynamic economic partnership with South Africa and invited South African investors to see Pakistan as a gateway to broader regional markets. South Africa’ is currently Pakistan’s largest trading partner in Africa.
A second meeting occurred in Parliament, in Cape Town between Al Jama-ah and the Pak-Africa summit Conference delegation. It was chaired by Al Jama-ah President, Deputy Minister of Social Development Mr.Ganief Hendricks and Member of Parliament Imraan Moosa, and attended by MPL Galil Brinkhuis, Chairman PSCTF Muhammad Rafiq Memom and his team.
