As part of registration weekend on 20–21 June, Al Jama-ah teams were active across Cape Town preparing communities ahead of the upcoming by-election period
The initiative forms part of Al Jama-ah’s continued grassroots campaign approach — meeting communities where they are and ensuring local voices are represented in the upcoming elections.
Behind the scenes, preparing the way, Councillor Brinkhuis, moved swiftly through a number of neighbourhoods installing street boards and visibility material to raise awareness and encourage residents to register, verify their details, and prepare to participate in the democratic process.
