Two years ago Anthea Houston was brutally assaulted by one Gerhard van Rensburg at a protest in Salt River.
He purposefully walked up to Anthea, raised both his fists and beat her to the ground.

I will never forget the sound of Anthea falling to the ground by the force of the assault
I followed the accused as he ran away, keeping the video on the accused attempting to leave the scene with no concern for the impact of his actions and injuries to women left behind
Even SAPS was allowing the individual to leave the scene
Later SAPS attempted not to prosecute the matter, saying there was decision not to prosecute
Shame on those who commits Gender based violence.
Shame on those who does not ensure justice.
This matter is currently a part heard matter at Cape Town Court.
Anthea has shown bravery for every women in the face of this brutal assault, making it clear that Gender base violence will never be OK
It does not just go away.
Justice needs to be pursued
