Al Jama-ha Official Visit By Deputy Minister And President Of Al Jama-Ah Ganief Hendricks To His Majesty In Qamata
An important engagement between the Deputy Minister of Social Development President of Al Jama-ah, Hon. Ganief Hendricks, and His Majesty in Qamata, Eastern Cape took place on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
The visit forms part of Al Jama-ah’s ongoing commitment to engaging traditional leadership, communities and key stakeholders on matters affecting social and economic development, community empowerment and the advancement of local communities.
The engagement in Qamata will provide an opportunity for meaningful dialogue between Al Jama-ah leadership and the traditional leadership of the Abathembu Base Rhoda Qamata.
The visit underscores Al Jama-ah’s belief that meaningful development requires partnership between government, traditional leadership, political leadership and communities.
President Hendricks will use the engagement to strengthen relations with traditional leadership and explore areas of cooperation that can contribute towards improving the socio-economic conditions of communities.
