AL JAMA-AH Takes the Fight for Better Local Government to Ward 55
AL JAMA-AH is taking its campaign for accountable, ethical and people- centred local government directly to the residents of Ward 55, with our Ward 55 candidate, Nicole Loggenberg, ready to engage political parties and the community on the issues that matter most.
Loggenberg will represent AL JAMA-AH at the upcoming “Who Deserves Your Vote?” political debate, bringing the party’s message of service, accountability and decisive leadership to the residents of Ward 55.
Ward 55 includes Robertsham, Christville, Haddon, Winchester Hills, Ormonde and Turffontein, and the residents of these communities deserve representatives who will stand up for their interests and hold local government accountable.
The debate will focus on the issues that directly affect residents, including:
* Leadership and accountability
* Service delivery
* Community safety
* Local government
* Infrastructure and development
* The future of Ward 55
AL JAMA-AH: Johannesburg Deserves Better
AL JAMA-AH believes the people of Johannesburg have been failed by political parties that have had opportunities to govern and make a meaningful difference.
The DA and ActionSA have both had their opportunity to influence the direction of Johannesburg, yet residents continue to experience inadequate service delivery, deteriorating infrastructure, safety concerns and a lack of decisive leadership.
AL JAMA-AH is offering residents an alternative.
Our position is clear: Johannesburg needs leadership that is accountable to its residents, not to political interests.
Nicole Loggenberg will use the debate to put forward AL JAMA-AH’s vision for Ward 55 and to engage directly with the competing parties on their record, their plans and what they intend to deliver to residents.
“Ward 55 residents deserve leadership that listens, understands their concerns and, most importantly, delivers. We are not interested in empty political promises. We want to build a ward where residents can hold their elected representatives accountable and where local government actually works for the people,” says Loggenberg.
Building Towards Our Johannesburg Mayoral Announcement
The Ward 55 campaign forms part of AL JAMA-AH’s broader preparations for the City of Johannesburg.
As we build towards the upcoming local government elections, AL JAMA- AH will announce its candidate for Mayor of the City of Johannesburg in October 2026.
This announcement will mark an important step in our campaign to offer Johannesburg residents a credible alternative and a new vision for the future of the city.
We believe Johannesburg requires clean, accountable and responsive government, with a renewed focus on service delivery, safety, infrastructure, economic opportunity and the dignity of every resident.
