Deputy Minister Honourable Ganief Hendricks made a promise to our Cllr Cele to bring government services to Umuziwabantu Municipality and surrounding areas.
DSD staff under Rre Mahlatsi Koma organized this event. But before bringing the services to the communities, the local iNkosi Machi along with KZN MEC and the Mayor of the area has to brief DM at the local municipality offices.
Subsequent to the detailed briefing, the DM gifted the iNkosi a sheep as a present and in a manner blessing the event. The tradition by and large is that the gift be given in the hall where the briefing meeting took place.
