AL JAMA-AH hosted a successful Women’s Day celebration in Mtubatuba to celebrate Women’s Day.
The party’s Women’s Month activities kicked off with ‘rescuing’ vast acres of sugar cane fields on the brink of extinction in Mtubatuba and surrounding areas in KwaZulu-Natal.
This revival of the sugar cane fields will provide 3000 women sugar cane growers with sustainable livelihoods.
The party’s Women’s Month activities are based on the “Community Call for Empowerment of Women” which is in line with the national theme: “Building Resilient Economies For All.”
