As we campaign in Landsdowne a reflection 19 years since Al Jama-ah was established in Lansdowne.
Nineteen years of standing for justice, dignity, accountability and service to humanity.
Today, as I campaign as an Al Jama-ah Ward Candidate for Ward 60 and as Executive Mayoral Candidate for Cape Town, my focus remains simple:
Listen to our communities. Understand their challenges. Find solutions. And hold those responsible accountable.
From housing and basic services, to safety, jobs, youth opportunities and the dignity of our elderly — these are the issues residents are raising with us every day.
We are taking those concerns directly to the people and ensuring that communities are heard.
Leadership is not about being above the people. It is about serving the people.
Al Jama-ah — 19 years of service, and the journey continues.
