When a local family recently lost their home in a fire, Achmat Hendricks was on the ground — meeting with community leaders, offering support, and helping coordinate the distribution of much-needed aid.
Achmat’s work has always centred around practical service to people — from house visits to assisting residents with municipal issues, to helping vulnerable families and supporting food distribution initiatives.
