On Friday, 18 September, Al Jama-ah brought together political leaders, business and professional representatives, academics, community stakeholders and supporters at its Fundraising Gala Dinner in Johannesburg.
Held under the theme “United for Change. Investing in Our Communities. Building a Better Johannesburg,” the evening was an opportunity to reflect on the work Al Jama-ah is doing, the communities it serves and the road ahead.
The gala also marked an important moment in the party’s Johannesburg campaign, with the announcement of Al Jama-ah’s City of Johannesburg Mayoral Candidate for the 2026 Local Government Elections.
President of Al Jama-ah, Hon. Ganief Hendricks, addressed guests alongside senior party representatives, with discussions centred on the party’s vision for communities and its commitment to building a stronger political presence in Johannesburg.
