AL JAMA-AH says the DA’s former mayor in the City of Johannesburg is a ‘sore loser’ using unfounded allegations against the Party’s newly elected mayor

Al Jama-ah says allegations against its councillor and the newly elected mayor for the City of Johannesburg (CoJ) Kabelo Gwamanda, have surfaced well before a decision was taken to elect him as the executive mayor.

The party’s leader and Member of Parliament Hon Ganief Hendricks, describes the DA’s former mayor Mpho Phalatse as a ‘sore loser’; Gwamanda was overwhelmingly elected by the minority bloc. “We expected that the DA would use the unfounded allegations against Gwamanda.

Since DA’s Plan A dismally failed, they – as sore losers hacked other plans; they opted for Plan B with the sly intentions of not only ousting him but to plunge the city once again into chaos and disarray. They do this with partners such as ActionSA to worm their way back in to supposedly ‘rescue’ the city that they partially ruined!

“The residents of Johannesburg through their councillors have completely rejected the DA and Dr Phalatse,” says Hendricks. That having happened, the residents in the city and in other parts of the country should be wary of the DA’s scheming tactics wanting to show up the weaknesses of others through deceitful means.

According to Hendricks, once it became known that Gwamanda would be elected as executive mayor, he had insisted that a vetting be made following the allegations made against him. “I was assured that the vetting was done and that Gwamanda has a clean record. We did the necessary checks to prevent any embarrassment as what happened to the mayor in Tshwane,” says Hendricks.

He further expressed disappointment that some of the mainstream media sees it fit in aiding and abetting the DA in their unsubstantiated allegations against mayor Gwamanda. By and large, the DA remains an untrustworthy bunch that is loyal towards Zionism; so, Muslim and voters from other faith communities should keep their eyes peeled as regards its activities in all spheres.
