Al Jama-ah invites members of the media to the official launch of its 2026 Local Government Elections (LGE) Manifesto, taking place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at Orlando Communal Hall in Orlando East, Johannesburg.
The launch will outline the party’s vision, priorities and commitments for local government, focusing on key issues affecting communities, including land and housing, water and electricity, service delivery, local economic opportunities, financial governance and ethical leadership.
MEDIA ARRANGEMENTS
Media representatives are invited to arrive from 09:00 to set up equipment and prepare for coverage ahead of the programme, which begins at 12:00.
Journalists, photographers, radio stations and television crews are encouraged to arrange interviews and live crossovers with the Al Jama-ah Party Leader and mayoral candidates, who will be in attendance.
