A Profound Evening of Engagement, Inspiration and Opportunity for Our Youth
Cllr Adv. Shameemah Salie last night attended a meaningful engagement hosted by AMKA Products and AIX Capital in association with Awqaf SA and Mr Johannes Adams, President of the Western Province Cricket Association, featuring England international cricketer Adil Rashid. Also in attendance was former South African international JP Duminy.
The evening brought together young cricketers, coaches and club leaders in a discussion that extended far beyond the boundary rope. It focused on the power of sport, education and mentorship in shaping the next generation of leaders.
We welcome the continued efforts of Awqaf SA and its partners in investing in youth development through initiatives such as the Awqaf cricket tournaments and educational programmes that create pathways of hope and opportunity.
