It was an honour to be part of today’s Women’s Month Meet & Greet at Masjied Mubarak in Belhar, hosted by SANZAF and Real Talk by Anwar Sadat
For me, Women’s Month is about more than celebration. It is about recognising the strength, dignity, resilience and invaluable role of women in our families, our faith and our communities.
Being surrounded by women who are willing to connect, share their experiences, uplift one another and have meaningful conversations was truly special. As women, we carry so many responsibilities, but we must also remember the importance of supporting and empowering each other.
I was grateful for the opportunity to share a few words of encouragement alongside Faghmeda Miller and to be part of such a warm and meaningful gathering.
When we empower a woman, we strengthen a family. When we strengthen families, we build stronger communities.
Thank you to everyone who made today possible, and to every woman who showed up, participated and shared her voice.
